Happy Birthday Brennen

June 9th Brennen turned 12. He is super excited about getting to go to Young Mens and recieving the Priesthood. We are really proud of him. He is a great kid and always entertaining.

Purple Turtle was in charge of Birthday Shakes instead of Birthday Cake this year. YUM!

Grandpa and Chandler - "Best Buddies"!

Summer Fun

Our Summer is off to a great start. As a family we are looking forward to a summer full of friends, family, sunshine, and of course lots and lots of baseball. Brennen has tw0 big tournaments in July. The Firecracker July 2nd, 3rd and 4th and the Tournament of Champions July 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Both are being played in and around Park City. It doesn't get any better than that - Baseball AND Park City. Chandler will be playing in the State Championships the week of July 14th. SOOO, if you find your car following ours you know you will end up at a ball park somewhere.

Alex and Chloe have lots of great friends that fill their time (when not being drug off to another ball game). They both love to be in the sun, ride bikes, anything that includes water, and being mean to each other. Gotta love summer.

So Much Fun In June!

We were having so much fun in June we didn't have time to take pictures. Luckily we have a few random shots.

Chloe is really wearing a full blown, bulky sweater in the middle of June. We sat through way to many baseball games soaking wet from rain, and freezing cold.

Chandler's Pleasant Grove City team was terrible! But, he still had a great time. He continues to play really well and hit the ball HARD! If you ask him he will tell you pitchers "fear him". Seriously, where does he get such attitude.

He was drafted by another team to play in the State Championship. He hopes they will be better than his last team, and it won't take much.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day is one of our favorite holidays. It means two things . . . school is almost out for the summer and LOTS of baseball.

Memorial Day brings back so many great memories of Grandma Fugal's Peony gardens. For as many years as I can remember Grandma Fugal's flowers were in perfect bloom just in time for the holiday. I am sure Great Grandma Fugal is looking down on them every year making sure of it. The flowers were transplanted from her home on the old farm and she was very proud of her Peony garden. In fact, she even used to sell them to supplement their summer income.

Brennen had two games Friday and two games on Saturday. The Irish totally dominated both days to qualify for the Championship Games on Monday. Unfortunately, the boys didn't really show up for their first game and were one and done. Bummer!

Chloe turns 6! April 29, 2009

Chloe has been counting the days until her big day. We were so glad to finally have the day come. No more counting down. What we soon realized is now it is 361 days and counting until she is 7. AAAAHHHH the boys did not do this. Happy Birthday Chloe!
