Remember the Red Bathroom?
The once red bathroom is well on its way to becoming a pretty potty. It still needs a few towels, rugs, and other "stuff", but it has come a long way from its "red daze", I mean "red days". I am in love with the ruffled shower curtain and all of the little glass knobs. Yummy!
Clocks, clocks, and more clocks!
The front room is also known as the "Clock Room". I LOVE CLOCKS. I have lots and lots of clocks and I am still drawn to shopping for clocks. You would think all of the clocks would help me on time. Nope. In fact, lots of times there are batteries that are dead so the clocks don't tell the same time. I kinda like it that way. I think right now only the big clock is wishing for a battery. Maybe it can ask Santa Clause. (I hope it asks Santa Clause for some window treatments for this room too).
The Entry
Um, that pretty much sums it up. This is the entry. The place where the front door lives. This is where you enter the house. Okay, I'll quit.
If you look closely the pictures in the frames are not of our family. They are the pictures that came with the frames. So, like every other space in the house, it is still "in progress".

UPDATE *The New Office*
We have just about finished what once was the "baseball room". I still need window treatments, but every room still needs window treatments. I tend to do windows LAST. We are really excited with the way this room is turning out. It is very open to the rest of the house, and is a great place to concentrate and do homework. On any given evening there is at least one child in this room doing homework. I love it.

Take me out to the Ballgame!
What has now become my office was once an avid baseball collectors den of memorabilia. Bye bye Field of Dreams, Hello Ballard Design.
The Potty Project
Don't get me wrong, I love red, but this powder room is getting a makeover.
AND, here is the dreamy pallet I'll be using to make this a pretty potty.

So Inspired ***sigh***
Really, really, really beautiful. Look at that beautiful hedge. I don't think you would even have to eat at this table to love everything about this semi-outdoor dining space.

Champagne Glasses and Water
Don't you think everything tastes better when displayed beautifully? You see, I am a firm believer in this because most everything I make is yucky. I am not a good cook. It's okay, really, I have embraced it. So, when you eat at my house there is a good chance even the water will be in a champagne glass.

My New House
"The Ranch" with the Briggs
Baseball in New York
Cooperstown, New York |
Oooohhhhh the Pizza in New York. I think we had it five or six times in the eight days we were there. |
I think I take pretty good pictures. |
Brad and Chandler trying to navigate in Palmyra, New York. |
9 Wins 1 Loss. Second place was far better than these kids ever imagined. |
Brennen pitched a near perfect game in game 6. He was awarded the game ball. It is an awesome memory we wont soon forget. |
Brennen and the map were NOT a good combination. |

Maybe, I'll try again!
I have tons and tons and tons of pictures from the last year. I have a new house. I have been feeling a little crafty again. What do all of these "I" sentences have in common? That I am a narcissist? NO, just that I think I should share some of the awesome things happening in my life, now that my life is somewhat normal again. Maybe someday I will post what the past three years have taught me, but for now looking forward seems like a much better idea.
